APPLE CINNAMON SHAKE
A very special low sodium dessert treat is suitable for the Dash diet, this Apple Cinnamon Shake has only 80 mg of sodium per serving.
Apple Cinnamon Shake Ingredients:
2 cups low fat ice cream
1 ½ fat free milk
1 ½ cups applesauce (unsweetened)
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Direction:
- Mix ice cream, applesauce, and cinnamon in a blender and blend well till smooth.
- Now add milk and blend again till mixed.
- Pour into beautiful glasses and sprinkle with cinnamon powder. Serve and enjoy.
Tip:
Replace low fat ice cream with low fat yogurt to reduce calories and fat.
